What Is The Maximum Occupancy For Each Property?
The Farmhouse offers accommodation for up to five people, Lower Balgove offers accommodation for up to four people, and Edenview Cottage can accommodate up to six people.

What Is Your Smoking Policy?
All properties are strictly non smoking.
When Is Check In / Check Out ?
The normal start and finish day for a weekly let is Friday. Check in unless by prior arrangement no earlier than 16:00 and check out no later than 10:00.
Will Someone Meet Us On Arrival? How Do We Collect Our Keys?
When you stay at one of our St Andrews Cottages we ensure that everything is made as easy for you as possible.
Individual arrangements for collection of keys and your arrival will be made with you directly.
Is There A Maid? When Is The Cottage Cleaned?
Maid service is normally once per week on changeover day after check out and before the next guests check in. If you stay longer than one consecutive week, arrangements for cleaning and change of bed linen and towels will be made separately with you.
Do The Cottages Have Access To Satellite TV Channels?
Not at the present time, but all properties have a colour television. The Farmhouse and Edenview also have a DVD player.
What Is The Reception Like For My Mobile Phone? Do The Cottages Have Telephones?
Mobile network services vary, but reception in St Andrews and the surrounding area is generally very good. None of the cottages have a telephone.
How Safe Is The Strathtyrum Estate For Children?
The farm lanes are used by farm vehicles, so children should be supervised.
However, children are welcome and in general the properties are ideal for family holidays, with plenty of outdoor space, grounds and gardens to explore.
Are Short Breaks Available?
Yes - except during high and peak season, reduced rates for stays of less than one week are available. Please see rates page for more details or make an enquiry either using our enquiry form or using our contact details [at the foot of every page within this website].
Can You Arrange Tee Times At The Old Course / Other St Andrews Golf Courses?
We can provide assistance and will do our best to help, but obviously we cannot make guarantees about availability at individual golf clubs. Please note that we are not a tour operator and cannot arrange entire itineries, but we will make limited enquiries about tee time availability on your behalf.
Can I Bring My Dog Or Pet?
No, pets are not allowed - for reasons of our property's general cleanliness and our policy of considering that some guests may have allergies to some animals.
