This self catering accommodation is located on the main drive to Strathtyrum House, adjacent to the Links Golf Course on the edge of St Andrews.
The Farmhouse is less than a quarter of a mile from the 16th fairway of The Old Course.
In fact, the property is nearer to more holes on the course than the R&A Clubhouse itself!
The Farmhouse is a self catering property with a double bedded room and a twin bedded room, with one further single bedroom also available.
Ground Floor
The entrance hall leads to a sitting room, with an open fire.
Holiday home entertainment is provided in the sitting room by the TV and the stereo with CD player.
The large 'old style' kitchen room and dining area has seating for five people.
Kitchen equipment includes an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and washing machine.
The bathroom has a bath and hand shower, toilet and wash basin.
First Floor
Stairs lead from the entrance hall to the first floor accommodation:
- Landing
- Twin bedroom
- Single bedroom
Stairs lead to the Second Floor accommodation:
- Landing with hanging cupboards and shelves
- Double bedroom
The Farmhouse has oil fired central heating throughout, and is a detached building adjacent to the estate's walled garden.

Location of The Farmhouse and directions:
About a quarter of a mile from the outskirts of St Andrews on the A91, pass the main gates to Strathtyrum House on the left/west of the road and turn left about 100 yards later. From the direction of
Cupar, the golf courses are visible on the left hand side of the road as you approach St Andrews. About 100 yeards after passing a large sign indicating 'Golf and Information', turn right. Follow the
farm drive for 200 yards and find The Farmhouse on the left hand side. Ample parking is available opposite the house.

Changeover day is Friday [weekly lets begin on a Friday]
Children welcome. Pets not allowed.
Bedding - all bed linen and towels provided. Beds have synthetic duvets and pillows [no feathers], and non allergenic mattresses. The farming on the Strathtyrum Estate is entirely arable [no animals].
